Meet Jenny

Hi, I'm Jenny Franco

Finding the positive in every day.

Sarah Mitchell, Founder of Find The Positive Project

"I don't teach anything I haven't lived. The tools I share are the ones that have truly changed my life — and I've seen them change others too."

Jenny Franco

Founder & Positive Psychology Practitioner

I've spent most of my adult life searching for what makes people thrive — not just cope, but truly flourish. That search led me to yoga over 15 years ago, and it changed everything. On the mat, I discovered what science would later confirm: where we direct our attention shapes our entire life experience.

As a wife and mother of three, I know firsthand how much the people around us are shaped by the emotional climate we create. I've seen it in my own home — when I'm grounded and present, my kids are calmer, my relationships are richer, joy is more accessible, and the hard days are more manageable. That's the ripple effect I want to bring into every school and workplace where I work.

I hold a certification in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania — the birthplace of the science — and I bring that evidence-based foundation into every program I design. I'm also trained in Mindfulness in the Schools and bring my years of teaching experience and enthusiasm to people of all ages.  My approach addresses toxic positivity (or pretending everything is fine) and builds real skills: resilience, gratitude, connection, and the ability to find meaning even amidst real challenges.

Training & Background

Positive Psychology — University of Pennsylvania

Certified in Positive Psychology through the University of Pennsylvania, the institution where the science was founded by Dr. Martin Seligman. Grounded in the PERMA model and evidence-based well-being practices.

15 Years of Yoga Practice — 200hr & 300hr Certified

Over 15 years as a dedicated yoga student and a certified yoga teacher at both the 200hr and 300hr levels — a practice that underpins everything Jenny teaches about breath, presence, body awareness, and the mind-body connection.

Mother of Three

Raising three children has been Jenny's most demanding and most rewarding classroom. It's where she tests every tool she teaches — and where she's seen the power of these practices up close.

25 Years Teaching Children in the Arts

From Los Angeles to Houston, Jenny spent 25 years as a director and choreographer in musical theatre education — directing full-scale productions and building programs that used the arts to develop confidence and teamwork in young performers. The rehearsal room taught her how children grow through creative challenge, and that foundation is woven into every program she designs today.

School & Workplace Program Design

Experienced in designing and facilitating well-being programs for schools and workplaces, translating complex science into practical, accessible tools that real people can use every day.

Mindfulness in Schools

Trained in evidence-based mindfulness curricula designed specifically for school settings — helping students and educators build focus, emotional regulation, and resilience through age-appropriate practices.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Trained in MBSR — the gold-standard, clinically validated mindfulness program developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School — bringing structured, research-backed stress reduction tools to every program.

What I Believe

Well-being isn't a destination — it's a daily practice. And it's available to everyone.

Science, not fluff

Everything I teach is grounded in peer-reviewed research from positive psychology and neuroscience. Feeling good is a side effect of doing the work — not the goal in itself.

Whole person, whole room

Well-being isn't just about the individual. When one person in a classroom or team shifts, the whole culture shifts. I design programs that create ripple effects — not just personal wins.

Real life, real tools

I'm a mom, a wife, a practitioner — not a guru on a mountaintop. The tools I share are ones I use myself, tested in the messy, beautiful reality of everyday life.

Ready to work together?

Whether you're curious, ready to book, or just want to have a conversation — I'd love to hear from you.
